In 2017 I worked with Stonz to design two applique designs and a new pattern for their sun suits. With colour trends determined, they knew they wanted a unicorn for the pink booties, but requested something space-related for the blue version. We came up with the robot design, and proceeded to fine tune. Each applique had to be designed in a manner that was easy to layer and stitch. 

For the sun suit, we settled on a repeating pattern of surfboards and palm leaves to match the bright ocean teal colour.
